Glogin.Org — Public SSO based on OAuth2

Public Single Sign On solution that will provide seamless login experience, with No Tracking, and No Ads.

Motivation

Aren’t you tired of keeping track of several accounts you maintain for each website you use ? And when a Login with Google, Facebook option is offered, aren’t you concerned with privacy violation and tracking that come with using Google or Facebook login ?

I started glogin.org with an idea that a Public SSO, independent of any social network, messaging or search platform, should provide seamless login experience to a user’s favorite websites, without compromising user privacy and security.

Social networks that draw revenue from selling ads cannot be a trusted public SSO provider. Revenue for the Public SSO should be generated from large websites that have thousands of real user logins per month.

Solution

I leveraged Opensource Hydra Oauth2 server and customized it as shown below to provide a public SSO that allows users to register at register.glogin.org and allows websites to integrate with login.glogin.org for Oauth2 SSO.

Please Note — The infrastructure is down to save $$ and will be brought for prospective clients.

Summary

• Privacy is important — Do not track user activity or sell user data.
• Time is finite — Do what you love. No distracting Ads ever.
• Users should not have to create a login for every website they interact with, and should not rely on social login platforms that are built around around selling your data.
• Only large websites with several thousand real logins per month should pay a small fee, with most small websites falling within free tier.
