TAK is a government off-the-shelf solution developed by the Department of Defense to enable tactical data to be generated, visualized, and shared, facilitating communication across multiple users to achieve shared tactical awareness.

AwTAK Features

• Android Watch App with simple toggle that allows user to share their location and/or heart rate data with other TAK team members. When off duty, user can toggle off easily to avoid sharing their information.
• Uses cellular/wifi connection on the Watch, or the cellular/wifi phone that is connected to the Watch.
• Runs on any Android WearOS watch such as Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 or higher.
• Can be used to monitor location and health of personnel when working in remote areas in harsh conditions.
• Can also be used for civilian purposes such as transportation, search and rescue operations, etc.
